All at the Community Centre would like to give a big thank you to Steven O’Donnell and all those at Prizehouse Construction, for their wonderful renovation of a tired and worn out room, into a really lovely space that people who use the Centre will really enjoy being in and using.
As well as a new ceiling, the room now has new LED lower energy lights and there are new cupboards for storage. The old Victorian heating pipes have been boxed in. The room is now a calming pale mint grey, which matches the new work surface and the new speckled grey carpet. Prizehouse did this all for free, as a gift to the Community.
The Trustees, volunteers and everyone who will enjoy using the room, can’t thank Prizehouse enough for what they have done. It was the best Christmas present we could have asked for. If you are interested in using the room, rates and further information are available on our Rooms page.
