As you are most likely aware, due to the rise of Covid cases, the Government is bringing in a much stricter lockdown. Unfortunately this means that the Mirfield Community Centre will be closing to groups from the morning of this Thursday, the 5th of November and will also remain closed for private events. We understand how this could have serious impacts on some businesses and activities, as it will the Centre, but we don’t have a choice in this matter. We are monitoring local and national guidance and will try and keep everyone updated once we know more. Currently, the lockdown is due to end on December the 2nd, however this is open to change. Please check with us and keep an eye on posts from the Trustees (like this one) for updates.
There are some essential carer and childcare sessions which will still be taking place at the Centre. If in doubt, contact your group leader. [Amended 4 November 2020]
