The build for the new kitchen and social area is going well and is on schedule and on budget. The first fix plumbing, joinery, and electrics have all now been completed in the new kitchen and social area. The lighting in both areas will change from the old strip lights to new modern downlights, which should make the kitchen bright and the social area feel much more comfortable. We have also had meetings to take about the colour scheme and the new built in seating.
We have also installed a new gas main to the kitchen for the new commercial gas cooker that will be installed.
This is all being made possible thanks to funding from the Biffa Award; building communities and transforming lives.
